This 400 ml clear marine varnish spray is designed to provide effective protection against humidity, water splashes and external aggression. Its water-resistant formula deposits a uniform protective film that preserves the natural appearance of surfaces while enhancing their durability. Easy to apply thanks to its aerosol format, it ensures even distribution, even on hard-to-reach areas or irregularly-shaped objects. Transparent when dry, it does not alter the color of substrates and is ideal for projects requiring a discreet, protective finish.
Why use marine varnish?
This colorless aerosol varnish can is used to apply a protective film that is particularly resistant to water, UV, impact and weather, for protection both indoors and outdoors. It provides excellent coverage.
What's more, marine varnish spray can be used on many surfaces, including paper, pottery, glass, metal, canvas, paint, wood, porcelain, cardboard, polystyrene, terracotta... Once dry, your DIY creations have a clear, glossy finish.
Acid-free, it won 't stain. It's transparent, leaving no marks or yellowing of the surface.
How do I apply marine varnish?
- Shake marine varnish well before each use.
- Spray evenly over your workpiece, holding the spray at a distance of 40 cm. Apply 2 thin coats in criss-cross strokes rather than one thick coat.
- Allow to dry for 12 hours in a dust-free environment.
Before spraying the marine varnish, remember to protect the work surface, use a protective mask and gloves. Work in a well-ventilated room, or even outdoors.
Care instructions:
Clean varnished surfaces with a damp sponge.
