The Setacolor Cuir paint masking eraser from Pébéo is adrawing eraser thatcan be peeled off once dry, to create reserve areas on leather or imitation leather, for drawing or writing.
It is specifically formulated foruse on leather or imitation leather. It is applied with a brush in thick layers (at least two layers) for a very fine finish, on the areas to be masked.
You canapply itdirectly to the surface and then apply color over it once the eraser is dry, or draw with the eraser over an already-applied color. You can also cover the masking gum with another color to create a colored background instead of the bare surface.
Once dry, the gum simply rubs off with your fingers within 15 days of application. For clean lines after lamination, we recommend applying a thin layer of color to the previously dry masking gum.
Drying time varies according to the thickness of the coating, approximately 30 minutes (drying can be accelerated with a hair dryer). The product must be allowed to dry between coats.
The bluish color helps identify reserve areas, and darkens as it dries.
The brush can be cleaned with soapy water.
