Bonjour,
Les limes aiguilles ont-elles un manche, s.v.p ?
Comment peut-on distinguer les limes à grain moyen et à grain fin ?
Sont-elles adaptées et conseillées pour limer l’extrémité de fils de 0,8 à 1,2 mm en argent 925, gold filled, acier inoxydable et laiton, afin d’éviter qu’ils ne blessent (par exemple pour la confection de crochets d’oreilles en wire wrapping) ?

Bonjour, oui, ces limes aiguilles ont bien un manche (rouge, on l’aperçoit légèrement sur la photo).
Pour distinguer le grain moyen du grain fin, c’est surtout visible à l’œil nu, et cela se ressent aussi à l’utilisation : le limage est plus “fort” avec le grain moyen qu’avec le grain fin.
Pour limer les extrémités des crochets d’oreilles, c’est adapté. Cela dit, vous pouvez aussi utiliser des fraises cloches ou des embouts arrondisseur, qui sont particulièrement efficaces pour ce type de finition. À noter : l’acier inoxydable est un métal assez dur.

Bonjour, vous pouvez tout à fait utiliser cette référence afin de limer légèrement pour adoucir le côté tranchant. Utilisez la lime avec un grain fin.

The shapes are varied and nimble enough to reach nooks and crannies. The blades are sturdy and don't bend under force.
Unlike described, they lack handles. It's impossible to distinguish the medium grit files from the fine ones.
