With the new Prometheus Cooper clay, you can easily create all types of pieces or sculptures.
The clay can be spread, rolled, sculpted, incised, carved...
During firing, the binder burns off, leaving behind a solid piece of pure copper. You can create jewelry, jewelry components or customized tools.
The great advantage of this clay is that it doesn't need to be fired with activated carbon.
Prometheus Copper Clay firing
On plate: 920°C for 30 min.
In fiber with charcoal: 850°C for 1 h.
With PBC after flame debinding: 830°C for 3 h.
On plate then in charcoal: 500°C for 10 min (on plate) and 850°C for 1h30 or 800°C for 2h00 (in charcoal).
After opening, store the clay in plastic film in the fridge.
