Pébéo Setacolor Cuir matt-satin paint varnish is a finishing varnish that protects leather and imitation leather creations from scratches and rubbing.
For optimum, long-lasting results, this protective varnish should be applied in thin, even coats. The result is uniform and streak-free. Varnish provides a perfect color seal, protecting your leather creation from rubbing, scratching, wear and water.
It can be applied with a brush, preferably wide and flat for a perfectly uniform finish, or with anairbrush, using a 50% water / 50% varnish mixture. The matte-satin varnish must be thoroughly mixed before use.
Easy to use, it is applied after the Setacolor colors have dried. Wait 24 hours before varnishing.
Instructions for use:
- Soak an absorbent paper towel or cloth in the leather degreaser.
- Rub the surface to be prepared.
- Apply the Setacolor special leather paint in thin, even coats for an even finish.
- Leave to dry for at least 15 minutes between coats. Allow to dry for at least 15 minutes between coats.
- Use mat-satin or gloss varnish to protect your creation from scratches, rubbing, wear and water.
Tip: you can obtain the desired finish by mixing mat-satin and gloss varnishes. For a satin finish, mix 3 parts gloss varnish to 1 part mat-satin varnish.
