Its removable stand allows you to easily rotate the Dremel Multi-Vise 360° and tilt it up to 50°, while clamping your workpiece or multi-tool in any position but safely.
Jaws feature removable rubber pads and V-grooves to hold the workpiece securely without damaging it and prevent the clamp from leaving marks when clamping.
In addition, the base clamp is coated with a soft material so it won't leave marks or scratches on your workbench or kitchen table. You can also use the removable clamp separately to securely clamp a workpiece directly to the bench.
How do I use it?
Attach the Multi-Vise to your workbench on surfaces up to 2 inches thick and use it as a stationary machine stand to bring the workpiece in front of your multi-purpose tool for controlled sanding, polishing and buffing.
The Multi-Vise can also be used as a machine stand to obtain an easy to adjust stationary sander/polisher. To attach your Dremel Multi-Vise tool, remove the nose cone from the tool, mount the ring provided and then screw and tighten your tool. To adjust the angle of the Multi-Vise, unscrew the 360° swivel base and change its tilt or orientation until the workpiece or tool is in the most convenient and comfortable position to work.
Tip: Use the Multi-Vise with the shaping platform adapter (576) to create a stationary sander or grinder, tilted at a fixed 45°/90° angle, for high precision work. The Multi-Vise can be easily attached to the machine.
