Composition :
The clay is composed of 90% silver/copper alloy and 10% binder and water.
Its purity after firing is 950 (925 Sterling Silver).
Modelling:
Modelling and drying are identical to Art Clay Silver.
Kiln-firing:
Art Clay 950 is kiln-fired WITHOUT the use of activated charcoal.
Place the piece in the kiln and heat to 500°C in 30-minute increments, then continue heating to 870°C in 60-minute increments.
Leave the part in the oven until the temperature has reached 200°C.
Shrinkage 11-13%.
Extra strong quality:
After firing, the piece will have a hardness similar to sterling silver.
