This Art Clay 950 cannot be fired with a torch or on a gas stove.
Composition:
The clay consists of 90% silver-copper alloy and 10% binder and water.
The purity after firing is 950 (925 Sterling Silver).
Shaping:
Shaping and drying are the same as for Art Clay Silver.
Firing:
Art Clay 950 is fired in a kiln WITHOUT the use of activated charcoal.
Place the piece in the oven and heat to 500°C for 30 minutes, then continue heating to 870°C for 60 minutes.
Leave the piece in the kiln until the temperature reaches 200°C.
Shrinkage: 11–13%.
Extra-strong quality:
After firing, the piece will have a hardness similar to sterling silver.
