Product description
Gold Filled earstuds with 1028/1088 3mm round cabochon setting and loop.
Snap-Tite® settings are so simple to use for setting your faceted stones.
How to use Snap-Tite® settings:
Place the stone with the crown face down on a soft surface, such as a velvet jewelry pad. Position the Snap-Tite® bezel above the stone with the prongs of the bezel facing down. Press down on the stone with the bezel, you should hear an audible snap, hence the name Snap-Tite®.
Check and make sure the prongs are snug against the girdle of your stone. The girdle is the widest part of a faceted stone and separates the crown from the pavilion (the top of the stone from the bottom). If the prongs are not perfect, use a pair of chain nose pliers and gently press on opposing prongs.
Gold-filled technique consists of a base metal such as brass or copper, to which a sheet of gold is bonded by pressure or other means.
To qualify as gold filled, an article of jewelry must have a layer of gold at least 1/20th, or 5% of the weight of the entire article.
1 pair (2 pieces) of earstuds with their earnut.
