The material 's thickness must not be over 1mm but you can test new materials by testing it on scraps.

Bigz Sizzix are compatible with Big Shot and Vagabond machine of the same brand. 

How does Big shot by Sizzix work ?

This manual cutting works with the "sandwich" principle. You just have to pile up a protecting base, then the die of your choice, then the material you want to cut and in the end the right cutting board. Once everything is put together, put it in the machine by working the jack handle. Spare the elements and it's done ! Your shape is cut ! ( or embossed).
