The hollowed-out shape of this ring blank wraps around the finger. Wear your DIY creation as is, or personalize it with a charm and an open ring.
This ring stand is delivered flat: you'll need to give it its final shape using a triboulet or suitable pliers.
This ring holder is made of raw brass. Once your ring is finished, if you wish to bring out the shine of the brass, polish your ring.
How do I shape the ring?
There are two techniques for shaping a solderless ring:
- Use a forging tool to easily bend the brass base into the shape of a ring.
- Use the pliers to bend the metal. As with the ImpressArt tool, you can create curves without scratching or marking surfaces.
You can texture the metal to give beautiful effects or create simple patterns on your blank.
