How do I shape my ring?
There are two techniques for shaping your band:
- Use a forging triboulet, it will easily allow you to bend the brass base and shape it into a ring.
- Use the pliers to bend the metal. As with the ImpressArt tool, you can make bends without scratching or marking the surfaces.
You can texture the metal for beautiful effects or create simple patterns on your design.
Want a little color? Glue on a cabochon and you're done!
Also consider customizing your ring before you bend it using metal punches, the dremel engraver or the jewelry engraving pen.
