This bracelet base is made of raw brass. Once your piece is finished, if you want to bring out the shine of the brass, polish the bracelet as you shape it.
How do you shape a bracelet?
There are two techniques for shaping your bracelet:
- Use a bending tool; it will allow you to easily bend the brass base and shape it into a bracelet.
- Use bracelet-forming pliers or double-cylinder pliers.
You can texture the metal to create beautiful effects or simple patterns on your blank.
Also consider personalizing your bracelet with a name or message. This step is done before bending the bracelet using metal punches, a Dremel engraver, or a jewelry engraving pen.
